Amendment 1 + RFI's Posted 5/1/2024: A summary of amendment 1 for the Oakland Harbor Maintenance Dredging Project is as follows:

1) Revised the quantities on the bid schedule to reflect the condition survey and shoaling analysis done in April 2024.

2) Revised reaches 3 to 10 on the bid schedule to change from “Cullinan Ranch Restoration Beneficial Reuse Site” to “Contractor-furnished Upland Beneficial Reuse Site” 3) Revised spec section 01 11 00 to “material from Reaches 1 and 2 is suitable and shall be taken for disposal at Cullinan Ranch Restoration beneficial reuse site, which is to be furnished by the contractor.

Material from Reaches 3 through 10 is suitable and shall be taken for disposal at any Contractor-furnished upland beneficial reuse site.” 4) Revised spec section 35 20 23 to “Transport and dispose of dredged material from reaches 1 and 2 at the Cullinan Ranch Restoration beneficial reuse site, which is to be furnished by the contractor and transport and dispose of dredged material from Reaches 3 to 10 at any contractor-furnished upland beneficial reuse site.” 5) Revised note on plan sheet G-002 to “Disposal site is Cullinan Ranch Restoration Beneficial Reuse Site for reaches 1 and 2 and any Contractor-furnished upland beneficial reuse site for reaches 3 through 10” 6) Revised plan sheet G-004 to add the topo survey data to the Cullinan site plan.

The scope of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for Oakland Inner and Outer Harbor FY24 Maintenance Dredging Project, Alameda County, California. The work includes annual maintenance dredging of the Oakland Inner and Outer harbor channel to -50-ft (MLLW) plus 1-ft of paid over depth and transporting of the dredged material per the requirements in specification Section 00 10 00 PRICING SCHEDULE and 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF WORK. All material is suitable and shall be taken for disposal at Cullinan upland beneficial reuse site.
