KENTUCKY ARMY NATIONAL GUARD REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS FOR:

Panoramic X-Ray Machine 1.0 INTRODUCTION: The Office of the State Surgeon Kentucky Army National Guard (KYARNG) is requesting to fulfill the requirement to provide dental medical readiness support with the procurement of a NEW Panoramic X-Ray machine. End of lifecycle conditions are the driving force for procurement due to current resources are unable to perform dental x-rays for KYARNG service members during the periodic Physical Health Assessment (PHA) screening Per AR 40-35 Par 3-17.

2.0 SCOPE: The Office of the State Surgeon Kentucky Army National Guard (KYARNG) has identified specifications for procurement of a Panoramic X-Ray machine to meet all requirements for dental screenings and treatment diagnosis by the state dental officer toward all service member(s) both screened and treated accordingly to specific dental conditions and/or indisposition. KYARNG J6 approval identifies the specific acceptable network approved software that meets all requirements to support and perform dental screenings and treatment throughout the KYARNG.

3.0 Specifications: Listed below required to support the proper capabilities to conduct dental screenings and treatment diagnosis. Romexis 3D Imaging Software (Only Acceptable Network Software)

Romexis 3D implant planning submodule with capability 1 user licenses Acquisition and reconstruction PC Computer 4.0 Special Instructions: The Office of the State Surgeon Kentucky Army National Guard (KYARNG) is requesting that special instructions exist for the procurement of this item that are listed below:

Installation will be identified for the location that include:

1 x Frankfort, Kentucky: Boone National Guard Center, Medical Detachment building number 204 Upon Installation: KYARNG Dental and Operational staff identified will participate in the operational, mechanical, and software capabilities training of the Panoramic X-Ray machine. Representative/trainer during installation process is required to administer.

This training session will at minimum cover all aspects of machine capability, operational management, compatibility, and include software functionality and programming capability. Procurement of Romexis 3D software is required. (Only software allowed on KYARNG Installation network) Vendor needs to be able to identify and provide all aspects and capabilities of Romexis 3D Imaging software included with procurement.

License(s) requirement for both operation and management are required to accompany Romexis 3D Imaging software to maintain continuity and control. Vendor needs to provide training and recommendation standards for all software and licensing capabilities to maximize efficiency of dental operations throughout the KYARNG.
