Roof Repairs at Bldgs. V-4111, A-437, and A-515

CLIN 001 V-4111 NEX Building Repairs include removal and replacement of the Main NEX Building Roof, Garden Center Main and Lean-to and the Front Façade. The Roof Access Ladder and Hatch to be removed and replaced new. Two (2) loading dock levelers to be replaced with canopies and bumpers. The exterior of both NEX and Commissary Building shall be power washed, cleaned and painted. All caution colors shall be reapplied. Exterior attachments and signs shall be removed and protected.

Replace all existing ductwork in the NEX Building only. The ceiling grid is to remain in place. The contractor shall require a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer as necessary for the required work. CLIN 002 Repairs to PWD Shops Building A-437 includes removal and replacement of the main building roof and west end overhang to the building. The roof is a 2-ply bitumen roof with insulation and shall meet UFC and Florida Building Code, the latest ASCE wind velocities.

The exterior of the building shall be cleaned and painted. All caution colors shall be reapplied. The south exit ramp shall have a new roof over existing structure. Lightning Protection to be replaced and recertified. The contractor shall require a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer as necessary for the required work. CLIN 003 Training Building A-515 will be a partially active building during the repair project.

Repairs to A-515 include removal and replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roof with a new standing seam metal roof, refinish external overhang wood pole support columns, cosmetic repairs to concrete cracks, exterior power wash cleaning and repainting, replace damaged facade, new rain gutters and downspouts, replace carpet in training rooms, and install new vinyl flooring in hallways. The contractor shall require a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer as necessary for the required work.
