A1: The revised statement of work (SOW) has been revised.

Q2: Meanwhile have a query for earthwork layers thickness details (in case non suitable material and exchange the material for concrete ) after removing the green grass and setting new concrete structures.

A2: The concert floor is no longer needed according to the updated scope of work. The project now involves replacing the natural grass with outdoor artificial or astro-turf grass and installing a new security fence.

Q3: We are highly interested to bid on the solicitation# 19SA7024Q0012 project. Can a U.S. firm with local Saudi contractor partner bid on this project. Please confirm.

A3: Yes, with a local sub-contractor.

Q4: Footpath area before the fence also needs to be covered for concrete replacement. May we know the additional area?

Q5: Can we have an Equipment (like bobcat) and Material Storage Allocated Area?

A5: Yes, small size (mini skid steer) on wheel or rubber chain.

Q9: Is the DBA Insurance mandatory? If yes, need more time to acquire (30 to 40 days).

A9: Yes, it will take more time. Obtain a quote from the service provider and add the cost to the proposal.

Q10: Regarding the removal of trees, how deep are the roots to be removed?

A10: An 8-inch bio-chemical treatment is recommended for killing the roots.

Q11: Aluminum is recommended for fence. Can contractor use the steel members to fabricate the fence?

A11: No, only materials which are highly resistant to corrosion can be used (such as aluminum or stainless steel).

Q12: The irrigation system as built will be required to remove the piping to make sure it will not disturb the remaining system only sprinklers or complete U/G pipes as well?

A12: The contractor must remove any sprinklers or piping that may disrupt floor preparation and block off the 1-1/2” irrigation lines from the valve box that supply the garden.

Q13: Is irrigation system re-programming required by the contractor or embassy will take care of programming?

A13: This is not applicable to our project requirements.

Q14: In one statement it mentioned the slab foundation’s concrete in 300 psi, and in second statement is mentioned all concrete is 15 psi, which one is accurate please clarify?

Q18: According to the site visit, it was requested to supply and fill with aggregate and coarse sand with a 40 cm depth under the concrete slab. Please confirm.

Q19: According to the site visit, it was requested to supply and lay reinforced cement concrete ground beams with a depth of 60 cm under the fence to install the columns. Please confirm.
