DRILLING & CONSTRUCTION OF WELLS

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center has a requirement for a construction contract for drilling and installation of monitoring wells near Salinas, Puerto Rico. The project must be completed with 148 days of the notice to proceed. Bonds required. There are no option periods.

Amendment 0001 is implemented to extend the closing date from 02/20/2024 10:00 am ms to 03/05/2024 10:00 am mst.

Amendment 0002 has been implemented to provide an updated statement of work to add an additional well and well location. There are a total of two wells, please reference B08 Attachment 7 Updated Statement of Work. The closing date has been extended from 03/05/2024 10:00 am mountain time to 05/22/2024 10:00 am mountain time.

Amendment 0003 has been implemented to provide Questions and Answers to vendors please reference, B09 Attachment 8 Questions and Answers Amendment 3. The closing date has not been extended. Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0124Q0068 will be issued on 01/31/2024 with written quotes due on 02/20/2024. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 237110. The size standard is 45.0 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The quote must be emailed to dparkin@usgs.gov.
