Fire Fuel Kit

The US Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Procurement Property Services (PPS), Customer Service Area (CSA) #2 intends to award a sole source to provide the Forest Service with supply of a Fire Fuel Kit- Voxel Edition . This source is providing an integrated "Fire Fuels Kit" that includes a BLK-360 G1 scanner and associated peripherals that have been developed to support a joint field effort between the USFS NRS, USFS SRS, FWS, NPS, WVU and several private entities.

The source is providing identical kits to each of these collaborating agencies and consistency is required across the project. This is a Notice of intent to issue a Sole Source Proposed Contract Action under the FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is for information only; a solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in response to this notice.

Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates an award date on or before 9 February 2024.
