This contract will not awarded competitively. FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) is applicable because there is only one source reasonably available to fulfill the specified requirements. Great Wolf Lodge emerges as the singular viable option within a 50-mile radius (equivalent to a one hour drive) of Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM).

This venue exclusively offers lodging with family rooms, conference rooms, childcare spaces, onsite meal services, audio-visual equipment, parking, and indoor areas suitable for activities aimed at enhancing teamwork and family bonds. Moreover, Great Wolf Lodge is uniquely positioned as the sole venue with sufficient space to accommodate up to 50 families participating in activities without interference from other guests. It remains the only reasonable source known for its low crime rate and an extensive history of supporting military functions.
