Industry Day - Grissom Air Reserve Base (ARB), IN Logistics Readiness Complex (LRC)

Please join us July 9th, 2024, for an Industry Day hosted by the Louisville District Office for the Grissom Air Reserve Base Logistics Readiness Complex project. The Government is planning to issue a single construction contract solicitation for the Design/Bid/Build construction of an approximately 30,000 SF Logistics Readiness Complex (LRC) for Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) and all RLS operational and administrative components.

Construction includes concrete slab-on-grade foundation with reinforced concrete spread footings, structural steel frame, exterior wall consists of low wainscot brick veneer and metal siding on upper wall , PVC membrane roofing that simulates the appearance of standing seam metal roof, and installation of electrical and telecommunication components.

The project includes soil stabilization, utilities and installation of backup generators, site preparation, pavements, site improvements, passive force protection measures, cybersecurity including facilities related control systems, permitting for environmental compliance, and other supporting work necessary to make a complete and usable facility. This is not a Request for Proposal, an Invitation to Bid, or a Request for Quotation.

Therefore, this event is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract nor will the Government pay for information provided to the Government in a response nor pay for administrative costs incurred attending the Industry Day event. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with travel or providing information in response to this announcement. The future solicitaiton will be solicited as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and will be a full and open procurement.

The solicitation is tentatively planned to be issued on 31 July 2024. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This event is open to large, small and socio-economic businesses who are registered in System for Award Management (SAM.gov) for the NAICS fields denoted below. Additionally, firms interested in subcontracting opportunities are highly encouraged to attend.

System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
