Building 37000 Plant 1 Repair Restrooms

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 37000 Plant 1 Repair Restrooms. Contractor must remove and dispose of existing flooring. (Abatement TBD) Clean, degrease, and prep slab to received new epoxy flooring. Contractor must remove and dispose of existing fixtures.

Preserve existing wall tiles and ceiling grid/lighting. Contractor must demolish existing partition wall. Salvage all three (3) existing doors in room P2. Contractor must remove and dispose of existing kitchenette. Existing plumbing lines must be capped. Construction Contractor must provide and install four (4) new water closets (WC-1) and associated plumbing. Contractor must provide and install four (4) new lavatories (SINK-1) and faucets (FC-1) and associated plumbing.

Contractor must provide and install two (2) new urinals and associated plumbing. Provide and install new urinal screen (US-1) at each urinal. Contractor must provide and install two (2) new toilet partitions (TPART). One to be installed to meet requirements of ANSI 117.1 Contractor must provide and install new partition walls utilizing 3-5/8” metal studs and gypsum wall board. Fill with acoustic batt insulation. Where required to facilitate plumbing utilities or fixture hangers, 6” metal studs may be used.

Contractor must provide and install new doors and re-install salvaged doors. New doors to match characteristics of existing door. Contractor must provide and install new epoxy flooring (EP-1). Slab must be prepared to receive finish per manufacturer instructions. Contractor must install government provided trash cans, toilet paper, soap and paper towel dispensers. Contractor must provide and apply paint (PT-1) on indicated walls. Contractor must provide and install new GFCI receptacles.

Contractor must provide and install new mop sink (SINK-2), mop sink faucet (FC-2) and associated plumbing. Provide and install mop hooks. Contractor must provide and install new mirrors. Contractor must provide and install new ADA grab bars. Contractor must provide and install new restroom signage for each restroom per KAFB standards. Existing ceiling to remain. Contractor must reconfigure lighting and HVAC to accommodate new space layout. Provide and install new lighting switches as required. Rebalance HVAC. Contractor must provide and install new grid mounted light fixture. Contractor must provide and install new exhaust fans, tie into existing building exhaust system.
