KYL Operational Contract - Post Industry Day Information

UPDATE as of 19 NOVEMBER 2024

Nashville District greatly appreciates the interest and engagement by our industry partners at the Kentucky Lock Industry Day on 18 September 2024. The anticipated solicitation timeframe and acquisition method for the Kentucky Lock Operational contract have changed from what was messaged at the event. Nashville District will no longer pursue the use of Integrated Design and Construction (IDaC) for the remaining construction contract work at Kentucky Lock. USACE will continue to provide updates on SAM.gov in the coming months and will continue to engage with our valued industry partners. Thank you for your patience and continued interest in this important civil works program.

In reference to the Kentucky Lock Operational Contract Industry day that was held on 18 September 2024, please see the attached Slide deck presentation, industry day attendance list, and project labor agreement questionnaire. Project Labor Agreement (PLA) - This questionnaire is an effort for USACE Nashville to receive feedback from industry.

We value your thoughts, experience and concerns in better understanding the impact that PLAs past and present and the effect you have experienced as a result of project labor agreements. If you would like to submit a completed project labor agreement questionnaire via email, please email your questionnaires to Samantha.D.Bautch@usace.army.mil , Cierra.R.Vega@usace.army.mil and Dellaria.l.Martin@usace.army.mil.

If your firm is interested in scheduling a one-on-one meeting with USACE LRN to provide feedback based on the Industry Day presentation and this project, please contact Cierra.R.Vega@usace.army.mil and Dellaria.l.Martin@usace.army.mil. No further information that could potentially create an advantage to any one firm will be given in these one-on-one interviews.

Update: 9 September 2024 - the Agenda attachment has been updated to reflect Industry day POC Bob Winters contact information as well as important Industry day location details/maps. The intent of this industry day will primarily focus on the scope of work for the Kentucky Lock Operational Contract and provide USACE Nashville District the opportunity to receive feedback from industry on the Integrated Design and Construction (IDaC) delivery method.
