Intent to Sole Source - Fort Liberty Lodging

Subject: Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to INTERNATIONAL LODGING LLC. FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The Missouri National Guard (MONG) and the Purchasing and Contracting Office at Jefferson City, MO intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements for lodging in the vicinity of Fort Liberty.

Extensive market resarch was conducted by contacting sam.gov registered small business hotels in the vicinity of Fort Liberty. All hotels that were contacted, excluding International Lodging LLC (DBA Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hope Mills Fayetteville), were booked and could not accomidate the group size that the Missouri National Guard required for this event. With this market research it has been determined that only one responsible source exists.

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 with the associated size standard of $ 40.0 M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
