Intent to Sole Source - Yellow Ribbon Camp

Subject: Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to ARMED SERVICES YMCA OF MISSOURI.

FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The Missouri National Guard (MONG) and the Purchasing and Contracting Office at Jefferson City, MO intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements to host a Yellow Ribbon Program Camp for the families of the Deployed Soliders in the Missouri Army and Air National Guard.

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract for the Armed Services YMCA of Missouri to host a Yellow Ribbon Camp for Families of Deployed Soldiers in the Missouri National Guard at the Trout Lodge YMCA in Potosi, MO.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 711510 with the associated size standard of $ 9.0 M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement.
