The proposed contract for the Armed Services YMCA of Missouri to host a Yellow Ribbon Camp for Families of Deployed Soldiers in the Missouri National Guard at the Trout Lodge YMCA in Potosi, MO. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
