INITIAL POSTING: PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. In accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13) the Pre-solicitation Synopsis for this requirement is waived. The solicitation, W912LD24Q0014, is released and attached. This announcement will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).

DeThe RIARNG requires all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform Telecommunication Services, service support for outages (7) days a week during business hours of 7 am to 6 pm, as defined in this PWS. The RIARNG requires this service from 1 July 2024 - 31 December2024.

RIARNG intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis to Cox Rhode Island Telecom, LLC. Cage code 49SF2.Cox is the existing provider under contract modification W912LD-23-P-0012 P00001. Cox and Verizon are the only terrestrial network providers with full statewide telecommunications infrastructure coverage. Satellite vendors (including Verizon) do not provide solutions that meet the bandwidth and network latency requirements with comparable costs to the terrestrial solutions.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to correct the PoP start date which was erroneously input in the synopsis narrative and RFQ Attachment. The closing date is extended as a result of this change. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
