US Embassy Yaounde Cellphone Services

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Yaounde will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.
The requirement is for mobile telephone services. The U.S. Embassy is using 500 lines for
official purposes. The Contractor shall provide complete mobile telephones services for the U.S.
Embassy of Yaounde, Cameroon. Services provided shall include:
Calls within Cameroon
International Calls
International Roaming
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP)
SMS Messaging
Voice Mail
24-hour Customer Service
Detailed Billing of Calls Made
Data Services
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
Government may award the contract based on the initial offers without discussion. The resultant
contract will be a firm fixed price. The Government may award the contract based on the initial
offers without discussion.
The anticipated performance is for one base period of twelve months and four one-year option
periods, at the option of the Government. The option to exercise these option years is unilateral
decision by the U.S. Embassy.
Prospective offerors must be able to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements for
operating in Cameroon including Telecommunication Regulatory Agency of Cameroon.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in
the solicitation.
The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and
printing from the beta.sam.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the
beta.sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation.
The response date in this synopsis is not firm; please see the Request for Proposal for the actual
closing date of the solicitation.
Questions will not be accepted at this time. However, interested parties may submit questions
regarding this requirement after the solicitation is posted.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
