Trimble GPS Units

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Navigation Electronics, Inc for the purchase of 5 Trimble GPS Units.

Qty of 5: Trimble TDC650 Subfoot Promotion/Package which Includes:

TDC650- TDC650-BASIC; Trimble TDC650 Decimeter Solution - TDC650-OPT-DMETER; Trimble TerraFlex Premium - TF-PRE-YR-NR; Spare Battery - 124461-10 and Dual charger - 118835-00 Each one should include the TDC 650, TDC650 Solution, TerraFlex Premium, Spare Battery, and Dual Charger. Additionally we require 1 year of NEI support (phone support and access to website support for all 5 of the required items).There are no substitutes available. This is not a request for proposal or quote.

Purchasing additional Trimble equipment will allow the new items to work with the existing equipment. Trimble has regional licensed distributors, and Navigation Electronics, Inc, is the dealer for this region. Navigation Electronics, Inc., is a small business. The GPS units are used to identified and map locations during field sampling efforts. The team is currently using Trimble GPS products for their ongoing efforts. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1.

There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541370 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.

All, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same item and or service. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
