The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information & Technology (OIT) End User Services (EUS), End User Operations (EUO), Endpoint Engineering has a requirement for 600,000 endpoint licenses of 1E Tachyon software. 1E Tachyon is currently in use on 170,800 VA endpoints.
1E Tachyon is a Digital User Experience (DEX) and Endpoint Management tool that provides real-time visibility and control of endpoints on or off the VA network, rapid identification and remediation of emergent security problems, automated configuration and change management, automated remediation of "unhealthy" clients, endpoint performance monitoring using synthetic transactions, user sentiment-gathering related to the stability, responsiveness, and performance of endpoints and the users’ overall digital experience, application monitoring, enterprise reporting, patch compliance monitoring, bandwidth-aware content delivery, integration with standard VA software distribution and patching tools, hardware and software inventory-gathering and analysis, and augmentation of VA Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) solutions (ServiceNow) by automating common help desk tasks and providing self-service functionality, resulting in increased efficiency, cost avoidance, and end-user satisfaction.
