Strategic Messaging System (SMS) Call for Prime Contractors

The Nuclear Networks Division (AFNWC/NCN), a part of the Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the solicitation for the Strategic Messaging System (related notice NCS-IND-0826). The Government requires limited information from prospective offerors prior to release of a solicitation.

As such, the Government requests all industry partners interested in providing a proposal as a prime contractor respond to this notice, state that they are interested in participating as a prime contractor and provide the unclassified email addresses of up to three (3) individuals who will receive further guidance on receiving the solicitation.

This information is to be provided no later than 1600 EST on 09 September 2026. After 1600 EST on 09 September 2026 no further notices regarding this solicitation will be posted publicly in accordance with RFO 6.103-6. Disclaimer Support contractors will be reviewing data submitted in response to this request for information; respective employees have standard Non-Disclosure Agreements available to the cognizant Government contracting offices. The primary company providing technical support is BAE Systems under Air Force contract.
