THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A CONTRACT AWARD TO FRANK G. WALTER. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Part 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).

The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Professional Services Acquisition Unit intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to FRANK G. WALTER of Tucson, AZ as a Medical Instructor for the Critical Incident Response Group’s (CIRG) Advanced Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Course. CIRG has a requirement for a Medical Instructor that is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Emergency Medicine and medical countermeasures to WMD substances.

The services provided by the vendor will enable medical personnel from the National Operational Medical Unit (NOMU) as well as partners to be better able to counter the medical effects of the WMD threat spectrum and protect FBI and DoD personnel. The period of performance will be one year from the date of award.
