USSOUTHCOM - FirstNet Wireless Service

The 410th Contracting Support Brigade/Regional Contracting Office - Miami in support of US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, Florida 33172 will be issuing a Firm Fixed Price Task Order for the purpose to provide FirstNet Primary Unlimited Enhanced cellular phone service, FirstNet Primary Unlimited Data MiFi (Hotspot) /Internet Device data service, and international service.

The determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) only one source is capable. It is the Government's belief that the proposed candidate is the only authorized contractor that can provide First Net Service. Policy Memorandum directs and mandates all of DOD to use the NAVSUP FLC San Diego awarded DOD Wireless Services Contracts (Spiral 4).

However, in accordance with, FIRSTNET ALLNAV Message R121659Z FEB 19, Public Safety Communication Services, policy directs (the DON) customers to use FirstNet with AT&T Mobility. FirstNet is a true partnership between the federal government, industry, and State/Local/Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) government partners. All states/territories /tribal entities have agreed to adopt FirstNet for their public safety organizations.

The DON must align with their planning actions and ensure no technology gap materializes within its public safety communications architecture supporting the DON first responders and their mutual aid partners on and off its installations.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide FirstNet may give written notice to lian.pino.civ@mail.mil by 18 August 2024 9:00 AM EST.
