Sanaria PfSPZ Reagent Biological Kits

This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Sanaria Inc., located in Rockville, MD to procure Sanaria PfSPZ Reagent biological kits to be used for ongoing clinical trial experiments.

The Sanaria PfSPZ Reagent biological kits will be used for the Laboratory of Immunogenetics (LIG) for studying immune interactions with PBMC collected during our recent clinical trial. 1) Purified, vialed, attenuated, PfSPZ – cat # SAN-409 150K/vial Qty: 100 2) Shipping to Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20852 FOB Destination.

Sole Source Justification: Changing variables within a clinical trial would compromise data research and our findings. For continuity and the integrity of the clinical trial, no other source is acceptable for this project. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

All responsible sources that could provide these kits may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-NIAID-24-2228227 to Diana Rohlman at diana.rohlman@nih.gov by June 25, 2024, 4:00 pm eastern standard time. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
