MTS Load Frame, Model 318.10 Replacement Manifold

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received by the Date Offers Due in the General Information section of this notice, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The Fleet Readiness Center Procurement Group Patuxent River, MD 20650 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION (Cage Code: 34145) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-l(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) requires a replacement manifold for a Government owned MTS Load Frame, and installation of same onsite at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island in San Diego, California. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this Government owned equipment is MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION and they do retain proprietary rights. The OEM is the only source that can meet the Government's specific requirments and mission in a timely and cost effective manner.
