Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Order to Accurate Security Pros, Inc.

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Accurate Security Pros, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106?1(b) due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs.

J6GKK3NCN8W8 Address: 9919 Hilbert St, Ste D San Diego, CA 92131-1076 This requirement is for the procurement of perimeter door mechanical locking equipment for NIWC buildings at NBPL Bayside Complex. NIWC Pacific has a firm-fixed-price contract with Accurate Security Pros for locksmithing services where labor for installation/maintenance is included. All door locking parts must be compatible with Schlage locks and the restricted proprietary keyways that are exclusive to NIWC and licensed to Accurate Security Pros.

Warranty issues also exist where the alarm contractor will void warranties while performing maintenance and taking corrective action on parts procured outside of Accurate Security Pros. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of supplies provided. Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 12:00 PM PST on 06 June 2024. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted.

A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 332510, Hardware Manufacturing, and the size standard is 750 Employees.
