Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Construction, 8(a) Sole Source, Building 750, 3rd Floor, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRN) Room at Broadway Complex, Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), California

This project was procured on a sole source basis through the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. This is a firm fixed price contract. This military construction project will provide construction for a Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRN) room at Building 750, 3rd Floor, Broadway Complex, for Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), California. The construction work is to convert an existing Bldg. 750 3rd floor open storage room to establish a NAVFAC Southwest SIPRN secured room.

This work will include but is not limited to, architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protections and interior design. The upgrade is mainly confined to the existing space which includes selective demolition of existing walls and ceiling. The existing room must meet Sound Transmission Classification (STC) Rating. The Bldg. 750 SIPRN Room will total approximately 240 square feet. This work will also include an option for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Construction may include, but is not limited to, all supervision, equipment, material, and labor to design and construct the SIPRN room at Bldg. 750.
