Prepped Condensing Unit

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT AN INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This requirement will be a Sole Source award directly solicited to Cospolich INC. Sole sourced vendor will provide one (1) prepped condensing unit for walk-in thaw box model WIC92408 serial number: 1248- 13. A "prepped" condensing unit in a commercial thawing box powers the refrigeration system that safely defrosts frozen food.

It continuously regulates the box's temperature to perfectly balance thawing without entering the "danger zone," which ensures food stays fresh and safe. This new unit is a direct replacement aboard the CVN-78 and is compatible with existing systems and includes aftermarket addition/changes to components to fit within the current configuration.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333415 Air Conditioning and Warm Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1250 employees. This pre-solicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
