REPLACE CRAC UNITS IN SERVER ROOM, BLDG 250, DAM NECK ANNEX

This project will provide for removal of two DX, nominal 26 ton air cooled split type Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) systems. Each system consists of a Stulz model No. VFS–312–DAR-U indoor unit and SCS-312 remote air cooled condensing unit. The condensing units are located on the roof of B-250, which is a two story building. The associated refrigerant piping and ductwork shall also be removed.

Two new non-ducted, air cooled, split type CRAC systems configured for upflow air discharge, each sized for the indicated IT equipment heat dissipation and room envelope loads shall be provided. The intent is to provide a lead/lag arrangement and locate the new indoor units in the same approximate location as the existing units.
