THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a supply type firm fixed price Task Order under FEDLINK Library of Congress’s BOA FEDLINK No. LCFDL23D0072 to JANE’S GROUP US, LLC (OEM) located at 1500 Wilson Boulevard, STE 640, Arlington, Virginia 22209-2458. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The requirement is for Naval Post Graduate School’s Dudley Knox Library (DKL) which provides access to high quality scholarly resources that strengthen the teaching, learning, and research efforts of NPS students, faculty, and researchers. These resources support the school’s mission to provide an excellent defense-focused graduate education to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership, and warfighting advantage of the Naval service.

Selection is based on relevance to curricula and research interest, the quality of content, and some technical delivery preferences.??The Naval Post Graduate School has need to renew their annual subscription software from the (OEM) Jane’s database which provides high quality, timely, reliable, validated, unbiased, and relevant open-source defense intelligence. This content is essential to the teaching, learning, and research needs of NPS.
