NAVSEA is preparing the following drafts: MIL-PRF-85045/27D, Cable, Fiber Optic, Twelve-Fiber Bundle, Blown Optical Fiber, Cable Configuration Type 3 (Cable Bundle), Application B (Shipboard), Cable Class SM and MM.

MIL-PRF-85045/38, Cable, Fiber Optic, Forty-Eight-Fiber Bundle, Blown Optical Fiber, Twelve-Fiber Rolled Flexible Ribbon Subunits or Twelve-Fiber Loose Tube Subunits, Cable Configuration Types 3 and 4 (Cable Bundle and Ribbon Cable), Application B (Shipboard), Cable Class SM and MM MIL-PRF-85045/39, Cable, Fiber Optic, Seventy-Two-Fiber Bundle, Blown Optical Fiber, Rolled Flexible Ribbon, Twelve-Fiber Subunits, Cable Configuration Type 4 (Ribbon Cable), Application B (Shipboard), Cable Class SM and MM Copies of these documents may be requested by sending an email to CommandStandards@navy.mil with the document numbers in the subject line and a brief message requesting copies of the documents.
