The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) intends to execute an interim Labor Hour/Time and Material contract action on a sole source basis to STG International, Inc. DBA STGi (physical address: 2900 S Quincy ST STE 888, Arlington, Virginia 22206-2231, United States;

Unique Entity ID: D8MVW9XGUS26; and Cage Code: 1GEJ7). Under contract no. 70CDCR18C00000003, STGi provides on-site healthcare staffing services for ICE detainees at facilities where IHSC provides direct medical care to those within ICE custody.

The period of performance of this contract will expire on 31 July 2024. As a result of a protest filed with respect to the competitively solicited follow-on requirement, an extension of services, pending the outcome of the protest and awards of competitive solicitations for the same services , is needed to continue these mission critical medical staffing services at IHSC locations across the country. This notice is NOT a request for proposals or quotes.

This is a notice of the Government’s intent to issue a sole source award to STGi for the required services. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capability to fulfill this requirement by responding to this notice no later than the closing date via email to ian.somppi@ice.dhs.gov; no telephone communications will be entertained.

The subject line in the email shall state “Response to Notice.” All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the required items and shall be furnished at no cost to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel this interim contract action. The anticipated primary North American Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 621999 - All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services.
