Notice of Intent to Single Source - Navajo Sanitation, Inc. – Refuse and Disposal Service – Tohatchi Health Center

Navajo Sanitation, Inc. – Refuse and Disposal Service – Tohatchi Health Center The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Navajo Sanitation, Inc. for refuse and disposal service as required by the Tohatchi Health Clinic (THC) located in Tohatchi, New Mexico. The period of performance will be January 17, 2024 to January 16, 2025 with a three (3) one (1) year option periods.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to Navajo Sanitation, Inc. in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available which, in this case, is an exclusive licensing agreement. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Carestream Health, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Stephen J. Silversmith, Contract Specialist, at stephen.silversmith@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM MT on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
