The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Contracting Division- Central (HCD-C) awarded a firm fixed price contract for Steris Dental Maintenance using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 19.1406, Sole source awards to small business concerns.

The contract action is a sole source award to the following small business vendor: Sustainment Technologies, LLC 1733 Briarcrest Suite 101 Bryan, Texas 77802-3052 The contractor shall provide all management, labor, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, and all others necessary to accomplish the repair and complete maintenance on Steris medical equipment in the 319th Medical Group within 90 days of awarded contract.

The clinic requires a comprehensive service maintenance that covers the cost of replacing OEM & Non-OEM parts, OEM recommended maintenance & safety standards, scheduled maintenance labor, scheduled maintenance parts, travel charges, repair labor, repair parts, 24/7 technical support, and a minimum on-site service response time of 48 hours.

The contractor is to conduct comprehensive service maintenance and repair for two steam sterilizers in the Dental Clinic to maintain and restore the units to meet its original specifications.
