On September 21, 2026, the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division – Southeast (HCD-SE), Branch 6 – Europe, awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price commercial purchase order (Contract Number: HT940626PE141) to MediTrade Medical Trading GmbH in the total amount of EUR 202,012.00. The contract was awarded under full and open competition, brand name or equal, utilizing commercial simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and the competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ) HT940626QE109 (inclusive of Amendment 0001). The procurement satisfies a mission-essential standardization requirement across Defense Health Network Europe (DHN-EUR) for fourteen (14) commercial steam tabletop autoclaves for surgical and dental instrument reprocessing at U.S. military treatment facilities in Germany and Italy:

1. Item Category 1 (12 Units): Large-Capacity Tabletop Steam Sterilizer (~85 Liters), Model: Tuttnauer 3870EAP (U.S. FDA 510(k) Cleared - K993856, CE Marked).

2. Item Category 2 (2 Units): Class B Pre-Vacuum Tabletop Steam Sterilizer (~27 Liters), Model: Tuttnauer T-Top 11 (U.S. FDA 510(k) Cleared - K232658, CE Marked). All equipment is factory-configured for native European utility power (230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single-phase) without external transformers.

Pricing is F.O.B. Destination and fully inclusive of all units, integrated/external cycle printers, operator and service manuals in English, an inclusive 24-month commercial manufacturer parts warranty valid in Germany and Italy, telephonic technical support, customs clearance coordination, and delivery to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (5 EA), Spangdahlem Air Base (3 EA), Ramstein Air Base (2 EA), and Aviano Air Base, Italy (4 EA). Award was made to MediTrade Medical Trading GmbH as the responsible quoter whose conforming quotation satisfied all mandatory technical salient characteristics, confirmed the required 120 calendar days After Date of Contract (ADC) delivery schedule, and offered the lowest overall fair and reasonable price representing the Best Value to the Government. A total of seventeen (17) quotations were received in response to the competitive solicitation.
