1.  Synopsis

This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5, is a Notice of Intent to award a contract action to Sword Health, Inc.. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available, and email requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

2.  Background

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has a need to deliver convenient, clinically effective physical therapy services to active duty servicemembers and their families, anytime, and anywhere. DHA intends to pilot and validate the efficacy of virtual physical therapy delivered through its enterprise telehealth platform, delivered fully remotely at the convenience of the patient.

3. Description

The contractor, Sword Health, Inc. is currently delivering musculoskeletal and pelvic floor physical therapy pilot program for beneficiaries using advanced, sensor-free technology, artificial intelligence-enabled biomechanic feedback, digital and virtual patient engagement, and clinical oversight by licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy.

The Government intends to extend the current Period of Performance for the existing contract HT001125PE007 by six months. The anticipated Period of Performance is for the contract action is 30 September 2026 through 29 March 2027.

4. NAICS Code

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 621999, All Other Misc Ambulatory Health Care Services with the size standard of $20,500,000.00. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is Q999.

5.  Submission Instructions: Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.

Submissions to this Synopsis is deemed to be DHA property which shall not be returned to sender.
