Centralized Printer Management Solution - Equitrac ControlSuite

Print management solutions coordinate all processes that take place between printer hardware and the devices requiring print jobs. These solutions are ideal for DTRA’s enterprise as they can be used to manage various printing tasks for its large networks of printers. For DTRA, print management tools ensure that computers are properly connected to an Agency’s printers. These solutions are typically deployed on one device, such as a printer, that can manage the entire network from a single location.

IT-MTO acts as the administrator of this software. Previously, DTRA has used Nuance Equitrac Print Management Software to manage its enterprise network printers. This software, however, is no longer supported as the company Nuance was purchased by another company named Kofax. Kofax has rebranded itself as Tungsten Automation, but they do offer the same Equitrac software. As a baseline requirement, any new Print Management Software, must provide DTRA users the same level of service or greater.
