Description of the requirement: This is a sources-sought notice to determine market conditions for establishing a non-personal services contract to provide operation, maintenance and service (M&S) for approximately 136 automatic doors, 3,375 overhead doors (some hangers), and commercial doors for preventative and corrective (on demand) maintenance at the Fort Hood Army Installation, Fort Hood, Texas. Fort Hood is located near Killeen, Texas and consists of approximately 218,823 acres.

The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide required preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) services in compliance with all code; criteria; regulations; and Federal, State, and local laws.

All work shall be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, which consists of the Main Cantonment, West and North Fort Hood, and all areas under the control of the Fort Hood Installation or considered Installation Real Property. Preventive maintenance is a scheduled task; monthly average is 136. Demand maintenance is a corrective maintenance task that has a time response requirement.

The selected Awardee must maintain and present a healthy, clean, neat, and professional appearance for all Commercial Doors included in this forthcoming solicitation in support of mission requirements for users, residents, and visitors.
