Combined Synopsis/Solicitation – Brand Name or Equal – 5-Axis CNC Gantry Mill This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number FA860425RB027 is issued as a Request for Proposal. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS code 333517. Size Standard: 500 employees. The Government intends to acquire an 5-Axis CNC Gantry Mill on a brand name or equal basis. The brand name is the Onsrud X-Series.

Offerors may propose the Onsrud X-Series or an equal product that meets or exceeds the salient characteristics found in the solicitation. The Government will evaluate proposed equals based on their ability to meet or exceed the stated salient characteristics.

Clauses and Provisions: This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03/01-17-2025 and DPN 20250117, including FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal.

SAM Registration: Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to award.

Award: The government intends to award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal. The government reserves the right to not make an award.
