Notice of Intent to Sole Source: F20558 Open Area 214

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Installation Contracting branch (AFLCMC/PZIBA) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH intends to award a sole source contract to:

Interior Services Inc. dba enriching spaces 1360 Kemper Meadow DR Cincinnati, Ohio 45240-1634 This requirement is for the following:

CLIN Item Quantity CLIN 0001 Reconfiguration for 12x8 Boss Box 2 Each CLIN 0002 Design 1 Each CLIN 0003 Freight, Receiving, Delivery & Installation (including Electrical Hook-Up) 1 Each The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order and carried out as a sole source action (not competitively awarded). The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b).

This authority is supported by an approved Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 337214 Office Furniture (Except Wood) Manufacturing. This NAICS code has a small business size standard of 1,100 employees.

AFLCMC/WL requires the reconfiguration of four 8' x 6' workstations into two 12' x 8 'supervisor workstations located in F20558, Room 214. This project necessitates the procurement of furniture that seamlessly integrates with the area’s existing Knoll Dividend Systems furniture to maintain a cohesive and aesthetically consistent workspace. Knoll operates through authorized dealers and sourcing outside this network risks compromising product authenticity, warranty, and support.

The Government intends to purchase the reconfigured workspaces through Enriching Spaces, which is the preferred authorized Knoll Dividend System furniture dealership for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 15 July 2025 @ 1400 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes.
