AMRAAM Risk Reduction Effort

This notice serves as a pre-solicitation notice for procurement of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Risk Reduction Processor Upgrade for Mission Alliance Risk Reduction. This effort is contemplated as sole source to Raytheon Company (1151 E Hermans Road, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337) under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 USC 2304(c)(1)).

Subcontracting opportunities should be addressed to Raytheon Company at the above address or phone number (520) 794-1639. The anticipated period of perfomance will be 30 months with an anticipted award date of August 2024. The specific requirements may include, but are not limited to:

test equipment, support equipment, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) purchases/solutions. AMRAAM DMSMS efforts incude identification, resolution, and/or mitigation of obsolescense issues. As Raytheon's obligations under existing contracts continue, any government-owned peculiar equipment will not be available to any second source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government.

Any capability statement will need to demonstrate how the source can provide qualified AMRAAM DMSMS Risk Reduction activities without substantial duplication of costs. No Technical Data Package (TDP) is available. Anticipated date of Request for Proposal for AMRAAM Risk Reduction Effort in on or around 1 Sept 2023. Closing date for response to this synopsis is fifteen (15) days after the date of this synopsis publication.
