20250430 - Solicitation Amendment added: FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee updated with proper percentage amount. The 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis Minnesota intends to issue solicitation FA6633-25-B-0001 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the Demolition of Officer’s Club B390 and B395, at the Minneapolis-St Paul ARB. Paper copies of this solicitation are not available. The entire Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be made available only on the website SAM.gov.

Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for monitoring this document and subsequent amendments. It is anticipated the following viewers are needed to open the solicitation and all attachments: Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and WinZip (.zip or .exe). This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.203; this acquisition will be conducted as a Total Small Business set aside. Magnitude of acquisition is between $500,000 to $1,000,000.

Work to be performed within NAICS 238910 “Site Preparation Contractors” and the size standard is $16.5 million. The PSC/FSC Code is P400 “Salvage/Demolition of Buildings”. The NAICS is to be used for market analysis only to determine the availability of potential small business categories for potential set-asides. Work to be included in this project consists of:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all professional services, permits, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to fully meet all requirements of this Statement of Work, Construction Specifications, Construction Drawings and all other Contract Documents related to and/or titled: “DEMOLISH OFFICER’S CLUB” at the Minneapolis Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis Minnesota.

An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is contemplated IAW FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding with a 30-day response time after solicitation posting. The government intends to hold a site visit on: TUESDAY 4/17/2025 at 11:30 AM (CST) All persons attending the Site Visit are required have prior clearance for access to the facility, via an Entry Access List (EAL). There are no exceptions. See Site Visit clause 52.237-1 for access details. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored.

Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist.

Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from SAM.GOV All contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database – www.sam.gov and completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award and be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 238910. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event of cancellation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
