Description

As published on SAM.gov.

This notice is for market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests.

The 366th Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Idaho, is seeking responsible contractors to compete via forthcoming Request for Quote (RFQ) for an installation project to develop a complete and fully functional design and construction package to demolish Dormitory 2425.

The purpose of the RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of the Small Business Community: Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) to include the 8(a) Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Program, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program, and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. The purpose of the notice is to stimulate the interest of the greatest number of prospective contractors in advance of the RFQ.

It is anticipated that award will be restricted to small businesses; the Government will determine if further set-aside to a Small Business Program is appropriate based on responses to the sources sought.

The following information is requested from responsible, qualified construction firms in one (1) response and includes the following information:

  • Firm's name and SAM.gov Unique Entity ID (UEI), address, primary point of contact, phone number, and email address.
  • Firm's expressed interest in submitting a response on FA489727QSS11, Demolish Dormitory 2425
  • Firm's statement describing its qualifications and capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity, including any relevant technical experience.
  • Firm's Small business category (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business [SDB] to include the 8(a) Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zones [HUBZone], Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business [SDVOSB]).

Interested firms shall respond to this Sources Sought via email not later than 10:00 a.m. MST, November 3, 2026. All interest firms must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Send responses to both emails listed below:
