FY25 Sidetrack Roadbed Maintenance at Yokota Air Base

The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and any other items or services necessary for Sidetrack Roadbed Maintenance at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan.

Note 1: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must be licensed (authorized by Japan Freight Railway Company) and registrated to perform work in the country of Japan.

Note 2: Drawings are not attached uploaded PWS. The offerors shall contact POC via email to receive the drawings.

Note 3: Solicitation issuance and closing dates are tentative. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the firm dates at block 6 & 8 of SF 1449, once the solicitation is released, to ensure submission of your offer in a timely manner. If you have any questions about the release date of a solicitation please contact the Contract Administrator or Contracting Officer listed in this announcement.

Note 4: Site Visit. On 9 Sep 2024, a site visit will be conducted at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo at 1000 hour on the date. Due to the distance between sites, offerors must be able to drive around base. Offerors will not be able to access Yokota Air Base on foot.

Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. In case of severe weather on the date of site visit, the Government may reschedule the site visit on a date to be determined by the Government. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred to participate in the site visit.

Note 6: Offer due date is Japan Standard Time.
