It is the offeror's responsibility to check the firm dates at block 6 & 8 of SF 1449, once the solicitation is released, to ensure submission of your offer in a timely manner. If you have any questions about the release date of a solicitation please contact the Contract Administrator or Contracting Officer listed in this announcement. Note 4: Site Visit. On 9 Sep 2024, a site visit will be conducted at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo at 1000 hour on the date. Due to the distance between sites, offerors must be able to drive around base. Offerors will not be able to access Yokota Air Base on foot. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. In case of severe weather on the date of site visit, the Government may reschedule the site visit on a date to be determined by the Government. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred to participate in the site visit.
