Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The 30th Contracting Squadron (30 CONS/PKB) at Vandenberg SFB, CA, is conducting market research to identify capable sources for a combined commercial supply and service requirement at Titan Dorm (Building 13135).

  • Products Required:

    • 88 Twin XL Bunkable Bedframes: Solid hardwood/hardwood veneer construction, durable institutional finish, tool-less/hook assembly, integrated wire spring support, designed to seat 38" x 80" mattresses.

    • 88 Twin XL Innerspring Mattresses: Finished dimensions 38" x 80" x 8"–11", firm, reversible, heavy-duty innerspring coils with continuous border wire butt-welded for perimeter edge support, institutional fluid-proof/bedbug-resistant ticking, fully compliant with 16 CFR Part 1632 and 16 CFR Part 1633.

  • Services & Facility Constraints:

    • Inside Delivery & Assembly: Unloading, staging, full assembly, placement, and leveling across 44 rooms (two standalone, unbunked beds per room; rooms measure 8' x 8'). Complete removal and off-base disposal of all packing debris.

    • De-Installation & Haul-Away: Dismantle, remove, and transport 44 existing Full XL bedframes and mattresses from Building 13135 to the base warehouse facility.

    • Multi-Story Stairwell Access (No Elevators): Building 13135 has no passenger or freight elevators. All new items must be manually carried up stairwells (clear stairwell width: 36.5 inches), and all removed assets must be manually carried down stairwells.

Meeting the required project timeline is critical.

  • Full building access is available 1 October 2026.

  • Target/desired installation completion date is 16 November 2026.

  • Mandatory Final Completion Date: All delivery, full assembly, and removal services must be 100% complete NO LATER THAN (NLT) 4 December 2026.

  • Responders must explicitly state their manufacturing lead time and provide written confirmation of their ability to guarantee on-site delivery and completed installation by 4 December 2026. If unable to meet this date, vendors must provide their absolute earliest guaranteed completion date.
