3. Scheduled a site visit for 26 Feb 2025 at 1300 EST. Vendors will meet at the Red Bank Club parking lot;
Address: 2316 Red Bank Rd., Goose Creek, SC 29445. Vendors who wish to attend the site visit MUST register by 25 Feb 2025 no later than 1300 EST. Please register by providing full name and telephone number for each attendee to Patrick Thomas at patrick.thomas.30@us.af.mil. Max attendees two (2) per vendor.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Joint Base Charleston requires the repair of a 50-Ton Grove Rough Terrain Crane to include the following:
Disassemble the main boom lift cylinder, replace all seals, resurface the cylinder rod with a new chrome-coating, and reinstall the refurbished cylinder on Grove Rough Terrain Crane (Model RT600E) Serial no. 230141. Parts used during repair will be original equipment manufacturers (OEM) approved parts. Upon reinstallation, the cylinder must be free of leaks and defects. The crane will undergo weight testing and certification in compliance with OSHA requirements, with certification paperwork provided upon delivery.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation to and from Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental codes. Work shall be completed to industry standards.
