Notice of Intent to Sole Source to LVD North America The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, TX 78150, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price purchase order to LVD North America (the tradename of the sales and services division of Strippit Inc.; UEI VQBSPRZVCCH9). The Government seeks repair and modernization services for an existing LVD Strippit Easy-Form 110/42 press brake. See attached redacted Sole Source Justification (SSJ) for more information.

The purpose of this action is to provide notice of intent for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, LVD North America, under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilizations).

This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement in its entirety via email to kailah.kraus@us.af.mil with a copy to barbara.jewett.1@us.af.mil no later than 20 Jun 2024 at 2:00PM CDT. Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not be reimbursed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
