Intent to Sole Source - Aircrew Aviation Body Armor Vests

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to First Spear LLC. to provide the 908 OSS with a Aircrew Body Armor Vest System (ABAV) in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR).

Description: ABAVs are required for flight and for aircrew survival. They provide aircrew ballistic protection and allow then to carry weapons, ammunition, and survival gear. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
