Notice of Intent; Sole Source, Perfect Point E-Drill

Notice of Intent to Award - Sole Source Perfect Point EDM Corp. The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source, contract to Perfect Point EDM,15192 Triton Lane Huntington Beach, CA 92649, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of a Perfect Point E-Drill system and E-Drill accessories.

Due to the status as sole manufacterer and distributer for Perfect Point EDM in the United States, Perfect Point EDM Corp. is the only source authorized to provide the E- Drill and assoicated accessories. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.

The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to SSgt Nimma Thorne via email at nimma.thorne@us.af.mil and CC Jake Montalbano at Jake.montalbano@us.af.mil by the response date stated in this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No requests for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
