The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source, contract to Perfect Point EDM,15192 Triton Lane Huntington Beach, CA 92649, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of a Perfect Point E-Drill system and E-Drill accessories. Due to the status as sole manufacterer and distributer for Perfect Point EDM in the United States, Perfect Point EDM Corp. is the only source authorized to provide the E- Drill and assoicated accessories. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement.
