USCG 210' and 270' Medium Endurance Cutters RG COOLERS

The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL), has a requirement for the purchase of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) New Jacket Water, Lube Oil, and Red Gear Coolers (RG Coolers), and Tube Bundles for the 210/270 A and B Class vessels. These supplies are required for the 210/270 A and B Class vessels.

The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these supplies. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM. It is the Government's belief that only authorized dealers (listed below) can provide the brand specific supplies listed in the attached specification that meet the form-fit-function of the USCG 210 and 270 Medium Endurance Cutters.

The Government has identified the following Authorized Dealers for the required supplies— 1. Kam Thermal Equipment 40 Fleetwood Court Ronkonkoma, New York 11779 2. API Heat Transfer Inc. Basco Division 2777 Walden Avenue Buffalo, NY 14225, USA 3. Allied Defense Industries LLC 210 Commerce Circle Kearneysville, WV 25430 4. American Industrial Heat Transfer Inc. 355 American Industrial Drive La Crosse, VA Any potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies. This information shall include, but is not limited to:

(1) Data that the required support and supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; AND (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, which verifies the interested party’s authority to supply OEM manufactured items and parts to the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline MAY NOT be considered for this acquisition.

Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. At this time, the USCG does NOT have an estimated timeframe for release of the solicitation and this is NOT a request for proposals.

It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor www.sam.gov for changes or amendments to this notice. The above information must be received no later than five (5) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period may not be considered.
