Description
As published on SAM.gov.
Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) utilizes on-premises Maximo version 7.6.1.3 for its Computerized Maintenance Management System. Maximo has been in use at WAPA since approximately 1997 and has been continually upgraded and updated to meet business needs.
WAPA seeks contractors to assist with the following activities: • Upgrade Maximo 7.6.1.3 from current on-premises infrastructure, outlined below, to the latest stable release of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) in a cloud environment. • Convert on-premises Maximo from Oracle database to IBM DB2 • Provide cloud computing infrastructure, hosting, MAS licenses, managed services and ongoing client support to assist with day-to-day MAS operation and maintenance. • All database migration and upgrade activities must be completed no later than October 2026. This will be a lift-and-shift migration which includes procurement, planning, execution, testing and documentation of both the application and database migration to ensure seamless transition with minimal downtime and validation of data integrity. WAPA is looking for the following information:

2) If interested, please provide a brief capabilities statement.
3) If interested, are you able to perform the work under a currently existing contract vehicle (example, GSA) and what is the contract vehicle number? Responses should be limited to two pages.
